The Eurasianism was a political and cultural movement of Russia, which arose mainly in the communities of emigrants. Its main theorists were Nikolai Danilevski and Konstantin Leóntiev.
The Eurasian Empire such as it is conceived by Dugin and his chief disciple, the Russian President Vladimir Putin, is a synthesis of the defunct USSR and the Tzarist Empire.
It would not be wrong to understand Eurasianism as a rationalized systematization of the international mental chaos.
However, such obviousness does not prevent each dazzled admirer of Eurasianism from seeing in it only that which he wants to see in it, closing his eyes to its unpleasant aspects.
